Tickets on sale now for ‘LEAR’

VUSC students together with Western Edge Youth Arts proudly present ‘LEAR’ by Shakespeare

The play will be performed over two nights – 13th and 14th September – with shows commencing at 7pm.

The play is about a newly created utopian world; one which has been created for the sole purpose of peace, prosperity and equality. Teenagers who are desperately seeking to live in a society more just and tolerant than the ones they have grown up in run it. When Lear, the founder, decides it is time for her to step down as leader, she halves her empire between two new leaders and for the first time, the community is divided. Under new reign, Utopia is suddenly under threat.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for student/concession, and can be purchased from the general office. Seats are limited so be quick!
