Student leadership development is a priority of the college and is strongly supported by the school community. Students are provided with organisational and leadership responsibilities, and through a ‘student voice’ focus, provide representation for students at regular meetings with staff and the College Board.

The Student Representative Council (SRC) is an active body within the college with students participating in decision-making processes on important issues relating to students. Students have the opportunity to actively engage in the school and wider community and develop leadership and teamwork skills through the Student Representative Council, College Captains, Junior Campus Captains, Music Captains and Sport Captains.

Students are elected to these positions by their peers and College staff. Applicants for Junior and Senior College Captains positions must give a speech at a campus assembly in Term 4 as part of the election process.

Student members are also elected to the College Board by other students each year.
