The VUSC Deep Learning Program runs in Years 9 and 10 to provide academically ready with greater depth, challenge and extension in certain subjects.
Pictured here are our 50 Year 9 students across the two Deep Learning classes in Year 9. They are participating in a Socratic Seminar which is a collaborative discussion in which students apply critical thinking skills to a text they are studying by developing and sharing questions and discussing their ideas within a group context. This allows students to develop new perspectives and build collaboratively on one another’s ideas.
